Advice from men pretty please.....?

If a man tells you that women have only ever caused trouble in his life and that even if he like s a woman he will not go up to her and will wait for her to make a move, how should I approach him when he gives me mixed signals after two dates. Should I pusue him or just let him be? He also says he is antisocial and never goes out. I don't know how to read his signals but I really like him and he's the best man I have met in years........what shoudl I do...thanks!!!
