I'm really stupid help I want a relationship?

I used to have such a childish attitude and loved to have fun and not care about love at all. I guess it's because I don't really understand "social conventions." I've never been attracted to a single women yet, but I have found many pretty. My town didn't help at all because it was so antisocial and nerdy. I just want someone now, but I have no experience and no way of looking. Girls have showed interest at the beach, but IDK WHO THEY ARE. I like a relationship when we're friends first . . . not creepy-styled lust love. I'm 19 and never been in a relationship and many people can't understand WHY. I have a feeling that I will do a terrible job in my first relationship because I usually just learn by "going into it." Where should I go and how should I act?
