What type of rope to support an Ikea loftbed?

When I assemble Ikea furniture, I often use carpenters glue in addition to the fasteners provided thereby resulting in much firmer construction with the downside being that it aint going to come apart for moving. Sometimes they sell cross bar stiffners that you can screw to their furniture to stiffen them.
