Why is my sister so mean?

I would ignore her. Most likely, if you don't say anything to her, she won't say anything in return. And if she does say something mean, rude, or insulting, don't say anything. Don't give her the satisfaction of a response, because that's exactly what she wants. There's no reason for your older sister to be treating you like this.
